Your Embrace

This body might’ve embraced many,
But nothing compares to your warm caress,
All the cells in my body affirm,
They sing love songs of yore
Whose tremors are felt underneath the layers
Right where the soul lurks –
It feels at peace
That it often forgets exists,
Every organ prepares to merge
To unite the souls.
A deep breath exhales relief
Of being saved from the world,
And then the heart knows,
That it is finally alright,
And that was all
It was looking for in this lifetime.
Chaos stops,
Time follows,
The balance is found,
When the yang meets the yin,
The disarray switches to array,
And the circle of life completes.
All the yearning there was,
is, and ever will be,
Finally feels fulfilled.
