I fulfill promises I made to myself,
You think I fiddle with my toys
Trying to live my toy stories?
Even if I might be in one,
I care for none;
I don’t care when you fail to see
What I see,
It’s not my fault
You are blind;
My eyes were born green,
And I will play with them
As I please,
My playthings are my Father’s gifts;
They were written in rejoice,
Meant to be celebrated
For the eternity of our lives.
Scoffs are people, after all,
I don’t please you,
I please me.
